Wrap-up of COAST-SCAPES WP social media campaign
From 4 February to 6 April, the COAST-SCAPES project carried out its first social media campaign across LinkedIn, Instagram, Bluesky and YouTube in an effort to unpack the concept behind a “Work Package” (WP). The campaign was aimed to introduce to the wider public each organisation involved and shed more light about their activities and responsibilities within the project as well as the specific goals they are working towards.
Information about each Work Package was distilled into one introductory and 6 short and engaging videos dedicated to each respective WP, delivering the key messages and objectives. Surprisingly, the campaign obtained promising results for science communication and for the purpose of the project. As a newly launched project, for the period of the campaign COAST-SCAPES’ profiles sparked notable audience interest and interactions, reaching over 1,500 impressions, 200 engagements, and 100 likes. The campaign's strong performance further boosted the project's visibility and helped communicate its objectives more effectively.
For those who might have missed the campaign, it can be easily explored on LinkedIn, Instagram, Bluesky, and YouTube as well as on the COAST-SCAPES website in the Media Centre section.
