COAST-SCAPES highlights Work Packages in first social media campaign

COAST-SCAPES highlights Work Packages in first social media campaign

The COAST-SCAPES project, which provides systemic nature-based solutions (NbS), aims to increase biodiversity gains and demonstrate that the building coasts are able to withstand climate change.

In organising its efforts to harness nature-based solutions for coastal regions, COAST-SCAPES relies on six work packages structuring project activities along concrete thematic lines. This division is now the subject of the initiative’s first social media campaign, with a series of posts highlighting actions under:

WP1: Systemic land-coast analyses under present & future conditions (led and coordinated by Consortium for the Coordination of Research Activities Concerning the Venice Lagoon System)

WP2: Cross-sectoral evaluation and modelling of resilience solutions (led and coordinated by New Water Culture Foundation)

WP3: Co-designed resilience solutions by empowered regions and communities (led and coordinated by Eurecat Foundation (Technology Centre of Catalonia))

WP4: Replication and transfer of systemic resilience-through-adaptation scalable plans (led and coordinated by Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich)

WP5: Dissemination and communication for practical exploitation (led and coordinated by National Institute for Research and Development in Marine Geology and Geoecology – GeoEcoMar)

WP6: Project management & cooperation for systemic climate resilience (led and coordinated by Polytechnic University of Catalonia)
